Pokémon Go

Last Thursday the hottest new app Pokémon Go was launched, introducing a new way to enjoy and play this long-time favorite game. Both die-hard Pokemon fans and new lovers of the game have been roaming all over their cities trying to catch Pokémon.

If you have no idea what we’re talking about, Pokémon Go is an augmented reality game available for iPhones and Androids where Pokémon will show up in front of you as you’re walking down the street! It uses real-world locations called Poké Stops to spot Pokémon and collect items, and you can even host meet-ups with other players and form teams. This game has gotten so many people out walking around and meeting other Pokémon players - totally breaking the stereotype that video games are a sedentary, solitary activity!

What you might not know is that our store is a Poké Stop! In the game we’re called the Gold and Diamond Mural, but we’re obviously better known as the Anastasia Boutique. For those very into the game, we are very close to a couple of gyms, and there are lots of other Poké Stops nearby! (But ours is obviously the best)

The next time you’re out catching Pokémon, make sure to look up from your game for a few minutes to make your way into the boutique! While you can’t dress your Pokémon Go character in our clothes (bummer, right?!) you can still look fabulous in the real world in a one of a kind look that is #SoAnastasia. With all the adorable summer pieces in the boutique, you’ll definitely feel like you “gotta catch ‘em all!”
