This week the focus is on the speakeasy inspired lounge bar, California Clipper. One of Anastasia’s favorite things about this laid back bar is its retro menu that features drinks such as: Airmail, and Gimet. Bourbon, Gin and Rum are included in a majority of the mixtures and reinforce the 50’s vibe prevalent throughout the location. That same old-fashioned charm is seen throughout the clothing sold at Anastasia’s boutique. Collared summer dresses with a button down front and checkered print hoop skirts are just a few of the items that are vintage inspired. California Clipper is located on 1002 N California Ave. and is open Monday through Friday, and Sunday, from 8:00 p.m. to 1:30 a.m. and on Saturdays from 8:00 p.m. to 2:00 a.m.
