Fall Clothing Sewing Class
Fall's here! Time for some new clothes, and nothing looks better on you than clothes you made yourself. Sign up for this class and Anastasia will guide you making new cool fall clothes.
Class meets on Sundays 2-5PM Sept 6th - Oct 11th
Pre-requisite: Sewing 101 or equivalent sewing skills
Each class starts cutting a sewing pattern for your size. We have sizes 0-38 or XS-6X. Then we'll go over the steps and techniques to create each garment, and you'll sew it together step by step. Every week you'll get to work with new fabrics too.
Garments we'll make in this class:
- Bomber Jacket
- Cowl Neck Top
- Fall Bias Cut Skirt
- Cardigan
- Beanie
- Turtleneck Dress
In the process, you'll learn how to set sleeves into a jacket, attach a knit collar, add a separating zipper, patch pockets, work with knit fabric, attach knit sleeves, hem knits, work with rib knit, learn to cut and sew on the bias, put buttonholes in knit fabric and sew much more!
All patterns, fabrics, and supplies are included. It is a $200.00 value in supplies.
If you want, you can bring your own fabrics, thread, or machine to use, but you don't have to. Just show up, sew, and go home wearing your new awesome sewing project. Plus you get to keep your paper sewing patterns which means you can make more garments at home now that you know how to sew it together.
