Pattern Drafting Directed Study

In pattern drafting directed study, you create anything you want. You can bring in your sketches or pictures of designs and Anastasia will guide you through the process of creating them.

If you can dream it then we can create it!

Throughout the 6 weeks we will work on your custom projects and sew them up out of muslin and have fittings to perfect the design. We will also go over the sewing skills and process of sewing to achieve a professional looking garment.

Day- Thursday

Time- 6pm-9pm

No class on Thanksgiving

We will meet once a week for 6 weeks 

Prerequisite is Flat Pattern Clothing Design.

Bring your sloper blocks with you to class.

Supply List

10 yards of muslin (depends on the designs you want to create)

Rotary cutter

 2 yards of medium weight fusible interfacing

All other supplies needed to pattern draft can be borrowed during class to use during class.

Our classes are limited in size (and frequently sell out!). Each person has a station with a sewing machine reserved for them, so no refunds are offered on classes. If you miss a class, video tutorials will be provided that you can work through in your own time. If you know you'll be missing a class in advance, contact us and we'll see if there's a seat available in a nearby session you could attend.
