Box Pleat Skirt PDF Sewing Pattern

Box Pleat Skirt 

Step out in this full volume box pleated skirt and feel like a movie star. This skirt has a fitted waistband with a center back zipper and side seam pockets. The hem is midi length but you can shorten or lengthen it to your desired length. I created this skirt out of a brocade in the tutorial but you can use any woven fabric. I also made one out of a plain printed cotton and it hangs closer to the body for a more casual look. I think this skirt would look awesome out of a denim as well.

Pattern sizing

This pattern comes in sizes 0-38 and you can find the size chart on the pattern or to the right of this description. If you need help grading the pattern from size to size be sure to check out my tutorial on that.

Printing the pattern

The home printer version is great for those who prefer the convenience of printing at home on standard size paper. Simply download the PDF file, ensure your printer settings are set to actual size, and print out the pattern. 

Make sure to double-check that the scaling is correct before cutting into your fabric. Measure the test square. This will ensure that the pattern is being printed at the right size. Once you have your pattern printed and assembled you are ready to start on your project.

This file is also a layered PDF so you can print just your size or print just a few sizes. You do not need to print all of the sizes. I suggest just printing your size so you can see the pleat lines better.

This pattern only comes in the home printer version for Letter/A4
