As you all know we are all about products that are made in Chicago and all things local. For this weeks installment of #madeinchi we are feauturing one of our favorite brands that we carry at the boutique, Sixty8 Provisional Company. They make high quality and affordable Men's grooming products. We carry their beard and shave oil as well as their pomade. The founder Joe Caccavella knows his stuff, he has been a barber since 2010 and his family has owned Joe's Barber Shop in Logan Square since 1968. Joe's Barber Shop was voted "Chicago's Best Barber Shop in the Chicago Reader's polls from 2010-2016. He has created a line of products that will satisfy customers needs as well as professionals like himself. All of their products are made in the USA and none of them are tested on animals. They are a family oriented small business that is heavily involved in the local community, and they make killer products! Their pomade is water based instead of using oils, which makes it easy to wash out and doesn't leave you with that build up of product. They make a heavy and light hold depending on the look you are going for, this product is a great wax alternative. For all the old school gentlemen, they make a wax based pomade. This will give you a glossier look and gives you the option for multiple day hold. Their beard and shave oils are awesome because they do not have a fragrance, this gives you the moisture that you need without the over powering smells.
