Working on a new gown for the SS13 collection. This is one of 5 that I will be designing. The goal is to make light & airy gowns that are still fancy but modern. I’m skipping out on the 10 layers of under construction like you would have worn 400 years ago.

For valentines day I went to the MCA to check out the new exhibit. ?. They had a good selection of guerrilla girls work/videos which I enjoyed. I remember seeing them back at CCS in 2001/2…. I can’t believe that was 10 years ago! Yikes!
After the MCA Sean & I went to the peninucil for afternoon tea & snacks.
The evening ended with climbing at the gym with mike. I’m getting better at climbing but I get exhausted so fast!

I couldn’t sleep last night. I keep waking up & remembering my dreams. It was odd… Sometimes I dream of elaborate dresses…. Last night was one of those….. It’s going to be for the winter collection 2012….it’s artistic & bold. Daphne Guinness would wear it. Until it’s finished your just going to have to wait

Last Thursday a new window display went up to tell everyone about custom orders. I think it turned out great & I love the vintage sewing machine in the window! Take a look

everything out & all other sizes are in back. It’s much easier to view the clothes this way. I also moved the mannequins around a bit. Change is good

Happy Holidays

Today was the most beautiful day…the weather was perfect & the fall leafs where beautiful!…. I can’t wait to see the photos Karmen took of the lovely girls. I also took photos of Karmen taking photos with my 35mm. When I develop them I’ll post them. Till then I just have a quick snap I took with my phone.
